Fragrant Stir-Fry Clams with Laksa Leaf




Number of Servings: 1pax


The traditional way to cook by Stove:

What to prepare?
1. 20g Oil
2. 20g Laksa Leaf, without Stalk
3. 2g Dried Baby Shrimp
4. 100g Venus Clams
5.  A Pinch of Salt
6. 3 Tbsp water
7. Sambal Chilli paste (optional)
8. A Frying Pan + Spatula

Directions:
1. Add oil to the frying pan and heat up the pan for 4-5mins.
2. Add Laksa Leaf and Baby Shrimp Stir and Mix Well.
3. Add Clams, water and a pinch of salt, Stir-fry until it is fully Cooked and Mix well.
4. Once it's ready, you may Serve Hot.

The future way to cook by Thermomix:

What to prepare?
1. 20g Oil
2. 20g Laksa Leaf, without Stalk
3. 2g Baby Shrimp
4. 100g Venus Clams
5.  A Pinch of Salt
6. 3 Tbsp water
7. Sambal Chilli paste (optional)
8. Thermomix + Mixing Bowl + Spatula

Directions:
1. Add Oil, Laksa Leaf and Baby Shrimp in a dry mixing bowl, cover with Lid and set to 3.5mins, 120 degrees, Reverse speed 1.
2. Add Clams, water and a pinch of salt, cover with Lid and set to 5min, 120 degrees, Reverse speed 1.
4. Once it's ready, you may Serve Hot.

Please note: If you are using Fresh Clams, add 3/4 of salt water for at least 1-2hr before you start cooking. Pour away the saltwater when you start the cooking steps. 

A Great way to save is to cook at home!

Time spent;
Stove cooking style: min. 10mins
Thermomix cooking style: 8.5mins
