Recipe: Clams with Basil Broth

Today's Recipe: 

Clams with Basil Broth

Number of Servings: 2-3pax

The traditional way to cook by Stove:

What to prepare?
1. 15g Olive Oil
2. 20g Basil Leaf, without Stalk
3. 15g Butter
4. 15g Lee Kum Kee Teriyaki Sauce
5. 350g Clams
6. A Pinch of Salt
7. 1x small red chilli (optional)
8. A Frying Pan + Spatula

Directions:
1. Add oil to the frying pan and heat up the pan for 2mins.
2. Add Butter, Teriyaki Sauce, Basil Leaf Stir and Mix Well.
3. Add Clams and a pinch of salt, Stir-fry until it is fully Cooked and Mix well.
4. Once it's ready, you may Serve Hot.

The future way to cook by Thermomix:

What to prepare?
1. 15g Olive Oil
2. 20g Basil Leaf, without Stalk
3. 15g Butter
4. 15g Lee Kum Kee Teriyaki Sauce
5. 350g Clams
6. A Pinch of Salt
7. 1x small red chilli (optional)
8. Thermomix + Mixing Bowl + Spatula

Directions:
1. Add Oil in a dry mixing bowl, cover with Lid and set to 2mins, 105 degrees, Speed 1.
2. Add Butter and Teriyaki Sauce, cover with Lid and set to 1min, 105 degrees, Speed 1.
3. Add Clams, Basil Leaf and a pinch of salt, cover with Lid and set to 4min, 110 degrees, Reverse speed 1.
4. Once it's ready, you may Serve Hot.

Please note: If you are using Fresh Clams, add 3/4 of salt water for at least 1-2hr before you start cooking. Pour away the saltwater when you start the cooking steps. 


A Great way to save is to cook at home!

Thermomix cooking style: 8mins
