Lotus Root Raddish Soup

Daikon (White Raddish) has many amazing benefits that include cancer prevention, stronger immune system, lower inflammation, and improved digestion. Further, it helps strengthen bones, detoxify the body, improve respiratory health, and stimulate weight loss. The Crunchy Lotus root is an edible root of the lotus plant. Lotus root is one of the excellent sources of vitamin-C and is a powerful water-soluble antioxidant.

The traditional way to cook by Stove:

What to prepare?
1. 250g Pork Ribs
2. 230g Lotus Root, cut into Slice
3. 100g Daikon (Raddish), cut into Cubes
4. 15g Dried Scallops and Clams
5. 1000g Water
6. 1x Red Dates
7. 1x Honey Dates
8. A Pinch of Salt
9. A Pot + Cooking Spoon

Directions:
1. Bring Pot of 700g water to boil. Place Pork Ribs in boiled water to Blanch Meat for about 10mins. Discard water, Rinse the Meat.
2. Add 1000g Water, Pork Ribs, Lotus Root, Daikon, Red Date, Honey Date, a pinch of Salt, Dried Scallops and Clams, and its essence into the pot of 1000g water at the boiling temperature.
3. Boil, simmer and cover for at least 120mins.
4. Once it's ready, add a pinch of salt and stir well.
5. Serve Hot.

The future way to cook by Thermomix:

What to prepare?
1. 250g Pork Ribs
2. 230g Lotus Root, cut into Slice
3. 100g Daikon (Raddish), cut into Cubes
4. 15g Dried Scallops and Clams
5. 1000g Water
6. 1x Red Dates
7. 1x Honey Dates
8. A Pinch of Salt
10. Thermomix + Mixing Bowl + Spatula

Directions:
1. Place Pork Ribs and 700g water into Mixing Bowl to Blanch Meat 8mins, 100 degrees, reverse speed 0.5. Discard water, Rinse the Meat.
2. Add 1000g Water, Lotus Root, Daikon, Red Date, Honey Date, a pinch of Salt, Dried Scallops and Clams, and its essence, in Mixing bowl, Cover with Lid and set to 75 minutes, 100 degrees, Reverse Spoon to 0.5.
2. Once it's ready, you may Serve Hot.
