Anyone who appreciates aesthetics would be attracted just by standing at the entrance of Alice Boulangerie. This minimalist café not only a feast for your taste buds but also offers a very visual delight. My leisurely Sunday lunch with my Mom began here with the appetizer of the day, the 𝑺𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒑 𝑪𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒆. This dish features Hokkaido Scallops Sashimi, Yuzu Gel, Ponzu Sauce, Lemon Vinaigrette, and Fennel. Its harmonious blend of gentle citrus notes and the refreshing taste of vegetables heightened my appetite and filled me with anticipation for the upcoming dishes.
𝑪𝒓𝒂𝒃 & 𝑨𝒗𝒐 𝑩𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒂 is elegantly arranged in sets of three, presented in a clean and tidy manner.
Oh, by the way, just before I entered the restaurant, I had a look at the menu and the 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑩𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒖𝒕 immediately grabbed my attention.
Ordering and tasting this dish was an entirely different experience. The creamy mash at the base of the dish, infused with butternut, had a flavor reminiscent of pumpkin. If it hadn't been listed on the menu, I probably wouldn't have guessed the unique ingredient choice of butternut. The butternut base harmoniously balances the flavors with its sumptuous masala curry infusion that coats the tentacles.
While the name of the dish, 𝑷𝒂𝒏 𝑹𝒐𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒅 may sound straightforward, what truly caught my attention was the delightful side dish. The combination of spinach and grilled Japanese leek atop a bed of potatoes on the side provided a refreshing and smoky taste, perfectly complementing the dish's sauce. The mild-tasting cod fish, topped with shredded fried potatoes and bathed in a creamy sauce, created a fragrant blend that both enhanced the fish and contributed to the overall exquisite food presentation. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful balance achieved in this dish.

I had 𝑨𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 - 𝑺𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆 and 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝑩𝒐𝒙 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 - 𝒀𝒖𝒛𝒖 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒕.
𝑺𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆: The Raspberry Lychee Rose Cake achieves a harmonious blend of its jelly-like texture and sweetness, thanks to its buttery dark chocolate base, creating a perfect equilibrium with the sweetness of the top layer of the cake.
𝒀𝒖𝒛𝒖 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒕: The Yuzu Green Apple Tart offers a refreshing experience on top especially the cream part and a crispy fragrant tart crust on the bottom.
Last but not least, For all the Mojito lovers out there, you absolutely must give this zesty and delightfully fragrant 𝑭𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑴𝒐𝒋𝒊𝒕𝒐 a try.
