For those looking to escape their everyday busy life, Kampung Senibong offers a peaceful backdrop to relax, take easy strolls by the waterfront or while eating your seafood, and of course, bask in the soothing embrace of the sea breeze.
You can enjoy an unobstructed view of Singapore directly from the sea vantage point here, and the sunset appears to be pretty stunning in this location.
Speaking of food, I'm really fond of the diverse range of seafood options and the array of flavours options available for each dish. I must say, the majority of the seafood is both fresh and affordable, although one dish that left me slightly disappointed was the Lala clam. I had hoped for it to be more tender and fresh.
My absolute favorite dish has to be the Sri Lanka crab – it's an absolute must-try here! The best part is that you get to pick your flavor, whether it's the spicy black pepper crab or the savory salted egg crab. And the icing on the cake is that a meal for around 4 people, with a variety of dishes, comes to just about RM400.
The friendly and inviting nature of the locals contributes to the overall positive vibe. Engaging with the restaurant's staff can offer a glimpse into their lifestyle and forge enduring memories.
Both driving in and using the Grab app are convenient options. However, please note that the road lacks direction signs, so be extra caution if you're driving to the location.
