The Hidden Pipe: English European Dishes in the West of Singapore

If you are somewhere in the West area of Singapore and looking for a Restaurant with awesome vibes plus craving some tasty European meal for Dinner or Supper. Additionally, chilled pairing with beer and alcohol, The Hidden Pipe Bistro may be a place for you.

A little more about The Hidden Pipe; they are an English pub and restaurant located at NEWest Mall serving English European cuisine along with ice-cold draft beers, rums, and other beverages.

In my case, I didn't have the chance to feel the awesome ambiance there. I had the Dabao version (packet food). So here's what I've tried today:

The Buffalo wings by The Hidden Pipe are New York-inspired. Unlike the usual Buffalo wings that are usually Grilled/BBQ. It is best to taste it directly in the Restaurant as it is served hot after it is fried twice to get it as crispy as possible, also coated in Sour Spicy Cayenne Pepper hot sauce for enhancing its taste.

The Sauteed Wild Mushroom with Roasted Garlic is crave-worthy, this simple savoury dish does not only sound nice in its name but it's also mouth-watering. It is rich in its fragrance and spice. Good for food lovers who love strong tastes.
Up till this point, I realised The Hidden Pipe's food uses quite a lot of spices which gives the Dishes strong and rich tastes. So, if you're team Pesto, the rich tastes in the Dish; Grilled Chicken & Asparagus Pesto may be something of your choice.
It makes a good balance when the Truffle mushroom soup is slightly plain (not as rich) to complement and balance well with the rich and strong taste dishes. The Truffle mushroom soup came in a super generous portion, I heard that it is even more than this if you dine in their Restaurant.

Talking about mushroom soup, the garlic toast is not the common garlic bread. Their garlic toast is made with Sour Dough Bread, roasted so you can enjoy a greater experience drinking your soup pairing with it.

Last but not least, my favourite dish of the day is Wine Braised Mediterranean Lamb. I'm not a fan of Lamb dishes actually, but I do love the dish's tasty sauce in it and my husband loves to suck those juicy lamb's bone marrow out. My husband is a lamb dish lover so he would prefer a richer taste of the lamb. However, I think it's all good for a non-lamb lover who wants to try a lamb dish. It's slightly spicy and the spices are very fragrant in the dish.
Pity that I didn't go to their beautiful restaurant, to enjoy the ambiance and vibes. If you're around the west of Singapore, remember to hop by and visit them, take some nice OOTDs in the restaurant.
