On Level 3 of UE Square Shopping Mall, hides a Ala Carte Japanese Buffet Restaurant. This Hidden Gem is where you can order Ala Carte Japanese Food at one flat rate, It's known for its value-for-money Buffet.
What's even better is they're having CNY Promotion, great for Family Gathering and Makan together in one session.
Today I came to Shin Minori with Jess, and she's a Super Duper Yu Sheng Lover.
We've tried their Yu Sheng, this is my first Yu Sheng of the Year! Huatt ahh!
The Staff were friendly, helping us to pour the ingredients over the Plate. As well as the usual steps being mentioned.
恭喜发财 “Gong Xi Fa Cai” meaning “Congratulations for your wealth” or 万事如意 “Wan shi ru yi” meaning “May all your wishes be fulfilled”.
Nian nian you yu 年年有馀 and You yu you sheng.
大吉大利 Da ji da li.

Hong yun dang tou.

There's just so many of them being mentioned, can't remember all of them. But it's roughly the above few. The usual steps to Lo Hei is usually everybody toss the salad and auspiciously 7 times with loud shouts of “lo hei” 捞起 and other auspicious New Year wishes.
Lo hei 捞起 which is Cantonese for “tossing luck”.

Jess and me had our Dinner at Shin Minori too, we had lots of Food and was super bloated because it's a Buffet! And ofcourse, the Food choices are alot more than we thought!
Their Signature and more Popular dishes are mainly Sashimi. The Sashimi Portion were Fresh and Generous in a single plate.
My recommendation for the Top 3 MUST TRY Ala Carte:
Kani Miso Shiru
(Cream of Crab Bean Paste Soup)
Moyashi Itame
(Pan-Fried Beansprouts)
Kabocha Chawanmushi
(Pumpkin Egg Custard)
If there's a fourth for Must Try, it would be Momo Sarada (Peach Salad).
Other than Sashimi, I heard Saba Shioyaki (Grilled Mackerel with Salt) is also the top choice of Shin Minori's customer.
