Sweetened Purple Rice Dumpling with Homemade Kaya (紫米咖椰流心粽, $19.90, 280g)
This one truly surprised me! Imagine a luscious "lava" textured kaya filling nestled within beautifully sticky purple rice — slightly sweet, aromatic, and silky smooth. The balance is so good; it’s not overly sweet and the kaya blends so harmoniously with the rice. A must-try for dessert dumpling lovers!

Shang Palace Signature Barbecued Pork Rice Dumpling with Yunnan Ham and Conpoy (香宫金华火腿瑶柱裹蒸粽, $32.90, 650g)
A timeless classic reimagined. Wrapped in bamboo and lotus leaves, this elegant, pillow-shaped dumpling combines the savoury barbecued pork, the depth of Yunnan ham, and the delicate touch of conpoy (dried scallop). The taste is beautifully layered yet light, ideal for those who prefer a more refined, less savoury profile.



Truffle Pork Belly with Salted Egg Yolk Rice Dumpling (松露咸蛋肉粽, $24.90, 280g)
This is absolutely delicious! The tender pork belly is soft and flavourful, and the addition of salted egg yolk paired with a subtle truffle fragrance brings the whole dumpling to life. I didn’t know truffle and pork could match this well — a bold and creative twist!

Honestly, I’m torn between the Truffle Pork Belly and the Sweetened Purple Rice Kaya Dumpling — both so different, both so indulgent. Meanwhile, my parents are already asking for more of the Red Fermented Bean Curd Pork Belly and Peanut one!
