On the final day, just before heading to the airport, I decided to satisfy my curiosity and walked in to have my lunch there.
This Elegant place; is Baan Suriyasai, a MICHELIN Guide Restaurant. Baan Suriyasai stands as a regal Thai Dining establishment, gracing Surawong Road within the walls of a splendid century-old mansion adorned in the classic Thai-colonial architectural style. The interiors exude a sense of opulence, featuring state-of-the-art facilities and stylish furnishings that redefine the standards of urban living.
I opted for the Traditional-style Tom Yum Goong, the soup, renowned for its rich and balanced broth, skillfully harmonizes the natural sweetness of River Prawns with the Aromatic essence of ingredients such as galangal and kaffir lime leaves in a mildly spicy broth. This culinary creation not only delights the palate with its Super-sized prawns but also showcases a simple yet visually appealing Food presentation, elevating the dining experience with its distinctive sour undertones.
I also indulged in a Raspberry Jelly-filled Lychee in Rose Syrup for dessert, and its stunning and vibrant colors truly captivated me with their exquisite beauty.
