Hai Kee Chicken Rice in Singapore

Hai Kee or 海记 is an established 60 year old eatery that puts a twist in their dishes and sauces. Although they're here for a long time, they've modernised their traditional dishes into something youngster will amazingly love. 

Here, I've tried their: 

🥟 G͟o͟l͟d͟e͟n͟ ͟F͟r͟i͟e͟d͟ ͟W͟a͟n͟t͟o͟n͟s͟ ͟S͟e͟r͟v͟e͟d͟ ͟w͟i͟t͟h͟ ͟M͟i͟l͟k͟ ͟M͟a͟y͟o͟: As it is a delivered meal, when I open the lid the sides are already not as warm. However, the Fried wanton still taste very yummy and crispy.. tasted even better with the Milk Mayo sauce. 

🐔 T͟o͟w͟ ͟K͟a͟y͟ ͟M͟e͟a͟l͟: The Chicken rice set aka the Tow Kay Meal has very fragrance rice, it's not too oily although the rice seems slightly glossy.. Pairing with the tasty chili sauce makes a perfect tasty blend. I especially love the chicken skin. Omg, it's so smooth and juicy. Plus point for the Soft Braised Beancurd, it's their signature.

🐽 F͟l͟a͟m͟e͟ ͟T͟o͟r͟c͟h͟e͟d͟ ͟M͟e͟n͟t͟a͟i͟k͟o͟ ͟C͟h͟a͟r͟ ͟S͟i͟e͟w͟: Last but not least, this is a MUST-TRY. Char Siew is a very traditional sides and dish but @haikeesg have made and served them so differently from others. This Chinese-Japan fusion dish tasted splendid and the presentation of the dish is really appetising. Plus point for the juiciness and the bonito flakes and fish roe toppings.
