California Pizza Kitchen Singapore serves Awesome Asian-Inspired Pizzas & Dishes

First of all, I would like to mention that California Pizza Kitchen is not just good at making delicious Pizzas but also other fusion dishes too. My absolute favourite of the day is Korean Sweet Chilli Wings; Combination of sweet and heat in these battered glazed Asian-style chicken wings. Oh my god, I'm still missing it right now.

You may have known some history about California Pizza Kitchen if you've dined in their restaurant before, California Pizza Kitchen began when attorneys Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax traded in the courtroom for the dining room. Having always wanted to get into the restaurant business, they pitched their legal pads and turned toward California-style pizzas.

In 1985, CPK opened its first restaurant in Beverly Hills and introduces diners to innovative California-style pizza. Since then, CPK has become a global brand name known for creative California cuisine. Today, California Pizza Kitchen os approaching 300 restaurants in 16 countries around the world. Dedicated to a unique dining experience, CPK has just recently been rolling out its next chapter featuring reimagined menus, open kitchen, and unique renovations in all restaurants across the country.

Appetiser

Firstly, let's try Thai Crunch Salad, there are two different sizes. Full size is good for 3-5pax, and Half size is good for 2-3pax. You have a choice of adding the healthy fruit, avocado into the salad for this dish. In this dish; Crisp veggies and cilantro with chicken and the crunch of peanuts, wontons and rice sticks. Tossed in Thai peanut dressing.

Second appetiser of the day would be Bahn Mi Bowl (Power Bowls), consist of Quinoa, baby kale, fresh cilantro & mint topped with grilled chicken, watermelon radish, red cabbage, cucumber, carrot, bean sprouts, scallions and sesame seeds. Served with housemade chilli-lime vinaigrette and green peppers.

Main Dishes

These are Asian inspired new dishes from California Pizza Kitchen and it's absolutely impressive. Here we have the Beef Rendang Pizza which is an hand-tossed pizza topped with Mozzarella, Spicy Indonesian-style Beef Rendang, green peppers, red onions and cilantro.

If you're a savoury eater, both the Beef Rendang Pizza as well as the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza may suit your likings. If you prefer something even unique and in the blend of Chinese Fusion, you may also try Chinese Sausage Pizza which many would love too.

If you love Chinese Sausages, you must not miss trying this dish; Olive Oil & Garlic Spaghetti with Chinese Sausage. As a Singaporean and a foodie, I really love Creative Asian fusion blends. Food makes me happy, and good food made my day. This Spicy Aglio Olio style spaghetti with Olive oil, garlic, green chillies, sauteed mushrooms, parmesan and Chinese sausage is a MUST-TRY for Asian fusion food lovers!

Last but not least, I must say WOW to this. Here's Warm Apple Pie Pizza for Dessert of the day!
This a dessert pizza made from green apples with a crispy brown sugar and butter topping. Served with vanilla icecream. Unlike the common Waffle topped with icecream, the Warm Apple Pie comes with inner fill, provides extra excitement before we get to try it. Crusty skin filled with warm apples slides out from the pie pizza, giving extra shiok-ness in mix of cold and hot altogether in the mouth.
