Al Fresco Unique Dining Experience @ ToriYard, Bishan Park

Escape the City and Tucked Away in Outdoor Greenery & satisfying your appetite!
ToriYard, located in the middle of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park not only let you enjoy your meals in the Park but also enjoy the romantic atmosphere with your loved ones.
Aren't you excited? Now you can enjoy Japanese Yakitori in a Park!

It looks like a mini Japan here from the outside, and modern rustic space on the inside.

I haven't started eating, but I'm already in love with the perfect views for looking at how my food is prepared and grilled inside the open concept grill station separated with just one piece of glass.

On the inside, Exquisite Interior with Meticulous Attention, the aesthetic of the space is kept minimalist with light bulbs hanging down from exposed beam and skylight from the roof.
Moreover, the Al Fresco area let you breathe in the fresh air of great cosy outdoors.
So, these are the list of Food I'm going to try today!
ToriYard's Executive Chef Hasewaga Isao, showcasing over 23 brand new items that features a variety of both classic and innovative dishes that will stimulate your appetite!

Let's start off with Appetiser Signature Salmon Fish Skin Salad. I have had lots of different Salmon Fish Skin before, but never in a Salad presentation. Haha. This is pretty amazing.
Next, the Gyoza is actually stuffed in that Chicken wing. The chef stuffed them so well, you won't realize it's not totally chicken wing if you don't bite it. These Tebasaki Gyoza do look a little plump compared to the normal chicken wing. It tastes great altogether!
Enjoy that smoky aroma... Wagyu Sumiyaki - Charcoal grilled Wagyu is what everybody is waiting for!
Ika Maruyaki is a popular fast food in Japan, in much of japan the term refers to simpled grilled squid topped with soy sauce. Here at ToriYard it's served as Grilled Hokkaido Giant Squid with Ginger and lemon along with soy sauce too.
It's perfect to pair with great varieties of sauce that ToriYard provide.

One of my favourite part of my dining experience is, of course, The Sauce Bar! My favourite sauce of the day is definitely Mentaiko Mayo! It paired with every single dishes so well. Other sauces are rare and unique too!
ToriYard serves many Yakitori dishes (焼き鳥), it simply means grilled meat skewers made from bite-sized pieces of meat. Usually made to order and cooked over charcoal, yakitori is a popular yet inexpensive dish commonly enjoyed together with wide-ranging sake option.

Tebasaki (手羽先) Classic Chicken Wings with seasalt, lemon & sesame and  Momo (もも) Signature Chicken Thigh with sea salt & lemon are also very popular in Japan. Now you can have it here in Singapore.
For something different from the norm, you can try Tsukune - Homemade meatball served with onsen egg & teriyaki sauce. It looks small, but don't be fooled by it... it is very filling.
After the meat skewers, here's vegetable skewers, here's Buta Asparagus Maki - US duroc pork belly asparagus roll and Okura Lady Finger.
My fulfilling meal tonight also come with Buta Karamiso Zousui - Spicy pork belly porridge which is not very spicy and delicious soup base.
As well as, Japan Premium Seasalt Icecream for Dessert.
Last but not least, I had Yuzu Honey for my drinks.
My favourite part of dining at ToriYard is the Sauce bar displays 11 types of condiments every customer can pair their dishes with. I paired almost every dishes with Mentaiko Mayo sauce, it's super delicious and tempting. I've been crazily missing it ever since I've eaten it and It's FREE flow! Eat till you drop! Great atmosphere, great food and great sauce! What are you waiting for!?
