If you're looking for a truly calming environment, a serene rustic sanctuary with ample space that feels like a wonderland for the mind, I stumbled upon this place thanks to a friend's IG story and promptly asked for the location.
This hidden gem is nestled in an industrial area in Johor Bahru. Despite its industrial surroundings, the exterior exudes a raw charm. Step inside, and you'll be greeted by a cosmopolitan philosophy in its interior design. The restaurant boasts wide, light-ventilated glass panels that create a sense of spaciousness and tranquility, making it the perfect place to unwind.
Within this industrial building, the interior is divided into two layers of space.
The first layer comprises what I could describe as "boxes," which house the restaurant and the main eating areas. Additionally, there are a few alfresco seat areas available as well. The Interior spaces offer a cozy and intimate dining experience.
Beyond these boxes lies the enchanted garden, IG-worthy area that is perfect for capturing some dreamy photos. The garden is adorned with lush greenery, creating a serene and picturesque setting. Plant lovers will be enthralled by the charming ambiance of this place.
The food portions were surprisingly generous, especially for a solo traveler like myself. Everything about this place is incredibly soothing, from the entryway to the walkways, the overall vibe, the food, and the entire experience. Despite its affordability, the ambiance and experience feel quite Sophisticated and Luxurious.
Seafood lovers should really try Clams & Mussels Bowl, which has a slight spicy kick but is definitely worth it. Another standout is the Kota Maruda, Sabah 70% Dark ICED Chocolate, an amazing and comfortable drink not to be missed!
Plan your visit when you can truly unwind and savor the experience, as this destination is not suited for a hurried trip. While the food may take a bit longer, it's all part of the charm, encouraging you to slow down, relax, and enjoy every moment to the fullest.
