Sushiro Isetan Scotts: Singapore's 2nd Outlet at Shaw House

Sushiro was founded over 30 years ago in 1984. Today, it is currently the largest Japanese kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi restaurant chain with more than 530 outlets globally and serving over 150 million customers every year. Known for its brand mission is to bring its customers.

“Tasty Sushi for All. Tasty Sushi from the Heart”

Sushiro incorporation of using advanced technology so as to enhance service efficiency and quality while providing value-for-money Japanese sushi to its customers, wherever they may be in the world.

Japan’s leading kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi restaurant operator, Sushiro Global Holdings, has announced the opening of a second store to meet the overwhelming response from their Singapore's first outlet at Tiong Bahru Plaza that was opened in August 2019.

Singapore's 2nd Outlet; opened on the 31st January 2020 with a 124-seater dining restaurant is located at Isetan Scotts at the Shaw House. Offering greater accessibility along Orchard Road at Isetan Scotts Level 3 (#03-K1/K2), it is also strategically located beside Shaw House Cineplex to serve as a quick and convenient meal option for cinemagoers throughout the week.

Keeping in line with the ethos of the Sushiro brand, Sushiro Singapore (Isetan Scotts) will continue to implement its two-tiered system conveyor belts that deliver both rotating and ala carte sushi as well as side menu orders via a touch-panel ordering system.

Each plate has an electronic chip tagged such that staff will be able to monitor and remove and discard unclaimed dishes after they have traveled 350m on the belt, so as to ensure that the restaurant serves the best quality and freshen food to their guests. You will love how you receive your food, moreover, receive only the freshest ingredients at their optimal state for consumption.

You may see some New Sushi to the Menu that may Satiate your Tastebuds. Some of which that are Limited time promo for Sushiro's Opening Special (while stock last). I ordered some of which that I'm tempted to try, such as Surf Clam with Lemon Basil:

Monkfish Liver Gunkan tastes creamily bitter for me, however, some people love the pungent strong taste of it.

Backthroat Seaperch, also known as Nodoguro in Japanese. This is really rare to find in a conveyor belt sushi restaurant and it is definitely MUST-TRY!

Giant Scallop sushi is also my very favourite of the day. This is definitely MUST-TRY too!

Other than the Opening special promo's menu, there is a whole list of Sushi varieties and side dishes for you to pick. You won't run out of options in anyways.

Here's Scallop Large serving sushi and there's another baby scallop sushi option in the menu.

Sushiro also offers quite a number of different sized shrimp sushi for seafood lovers to be spoilt of choices! There are also many cooking method & style option you can decide and choose.

I've also ordered the 3 types of the preparation method of Abalone. So first I got to tried Fresh/Raw Abalone for the first time, the texture is definitely much different from the other two which is Steamed and Boiled versions of it. Overall I really love the experience of being able to explore with the food choices here at Sushiro.

It does look good as it tastes, don't we just love Food that is aesthetically and delicious all together. Here's Spicy marinated Herring Roe, which is not very much spicy in any way but still tastes good.

Not forgetting Grilled Cheese & Mayo Sushi Lovers, there are multiple options too.

If you're a Chawanmushi lover and you haven't tried a cold Chawanmushi before. Here's your chance to try Cold Chawanmushi topped with Dashi Jelly at Sushiro. Although I still prefer the hot ones, but it's good to have tried it.

Other than sharing about the Good food, I would also like to share its commitment to affordability especially in the central of Singapore, Orchard road. A good tasty Clam Soup serves in a large portion only cost $2.50 at Sushiro Restaurant. There are also options for cooked main dishes at affordable prices.

Ordering is also very easy and simple through the Tablets, I have to emphasize that you will not see a single Japanese word other than their logo. There will be no surprises of unknown sushi in Japanese when you order, it's very Asian friendly with only English wordings and English sushi name stated when you order.

Also if you've heard, Hattendo only runs pop-up stores in Singapore. However, you may also eat it in Sushiro restaurant when you're craving for it. Here's Shizouka Matcha Pudding and Coconut Pudding with Okinawa Brown Sugar.

As you may hear it's overwhelming, there may be a long queue but there is no waiting time if you are using Sushiro app to schedule a dine-in appointment with Sushiro at their nearest outlet to you.

Knowing how much love Singaporeans have for sushi, Sushiro is looking to open more outlets this year. Other than this second outlet at Isetan Scotts, the third outlet at Causeway Point (scheduled March) and a fourth outlet in the East (Should be Bedok Mall) are in the pipeline for the first half of 2020. With more outlets around the island, more customers can enjoy greater ease to savour tasty, high-quality sushi at Sushiro.
