Cafe for Brunch at Bugis: Hangout Cafe @ Nafa

Many of us love to hang around at Central district of Singapore, especially where all the trend things are at and also where the Hipster goes. Bugis is an area in Singapore not only known for tourist, in fact, the local as well.

I think most of the people would hang out at Bugis Junction or Bugis Plus because there are much more varieties of things to shop and eat. However, whenever I see the queue at the restaurants it kind of turns me off, especially some food is not really amazing.
Just a short walk from the back of Bugis Plus is Hangout Cafe. And yes, you can hang out here more peacefully with a shorter queue and serene environment.

Last week, I had my #Brunch (Breakfast + Lunch) at Hangout Cafe with afew friends.Jess, Jonathan, Naomi & Me.
Although the Food is not as Photogenic as I thought, we still had some fun taking welfie with it.

So we had Star Fish Burger for a start. Although it looks more like Chicken Burger to us, well we should never judge a book by its cover. By the way, this is a Fish Burger, not the real star fish. It's just a fancy name for it.
Next, we had Fish & Chip set.

The fried Dory fish is fresh, soft and tender. Jonathan also mentioned, it is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Totally agree!

Jess also mentioned, "it's pretty generous serving".
Naomi especially loves the coleslaw of the dish, she mentioned "it's fresh and very appetizing"
Next, we also had Egg Benedict set. Although it's not the style of Egg Benedict I prefer to have. It is something that my other friends kinda love. Jess mentioned the egg yolk blends in pretty well with the bread toast, as well as Naomi & Jonathan mentioned it's soft and the bread texture and sweet taste is nice.
I guess my two favorite dishes of the day would be Chicken & Sausage Set and Seafood Aglio Olio.

I especially love the Homemade black pepper sauce which comes along with the Chicken & Sausage set, it is sweet and tasty. By the way, there's cheese inside the sausage of this set. Everyone super agrees with that the sauce is the unique selling point of this Dish set, and ofcourse the Chicken is fresh and tender too.
Seafood Aglio Olio is not too oily and I especially loves the softness of the fish. It's mildly spicy and everything blends well together in the dish.

Last but not least, it's dessert time!
There's also an Auto Touch to Order Machine at the Counter, where you won't need to go through anyone to make your order. Just scroll and click!
